Trimmer Robert Angus

Trimmer Robert Angus, Royal Naval Reserve. He  died on Active Service  in Chatham, aged 25, on 14th November 1916 in the Naval Hospital at Chatham. He  had been born in Eyemouth and was the son of James and Helen Angus of Chapel Terrace, Eyemouth and is buried in Eyemouth Kirkyard.  After enlisting he  had served aboard the hired drifter the  H. M. Trawler” Agnes and Janet” which was used as a net layer and hospital vessel. He died from T.B. in the R.N. Hospital in Chatham.
