Gunner William Ross Fulton Robertson, 173rd Siege Battery ,Royal Garrison Artillery. He was killed in action on 12th June 1917, aged 36. He was the son of John Robertson of Coldingham and the Husband of Mrs C. Robertson of 38 Bowmont Street, Kelso and is buried in Bully-Grenay Cemetery British Extension, Pas de Calais, France. This was mainly an artillerymen cemetery. The 173rd operated the 6 inch towed howitzer. His Headstone is inscribed ” Until The Day Dawn And The Shadows Flee Away “.
