Private Robert Stothart Paterson, 19th Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps. He died of wounds, in Belgium, on 5th June 1918, aged 24.He was the son of James and Elizabeth Paterson of 226 Leith Walk, Edinburgh and is buried in Nine Elms Cemetery, Poperinge, Belgium. He was the brother of William Paterson above. His headstone is inscribed ” Until The Day Breaks And The Shadows Flee Away Asleep In Jesus”.
