Private Robert Pearson

Private Robert Pearson, 8th/10th ( Service ) Battalion, Gordon Highlanders. He was posted missing presumed killed in action, aged 38, on the 26th August 1917. He had been born at Cranston, Midlothian and was the son of Marion Pearson of Cockburnspath, Be gore enlisting in 1916 he had been living at Ecclaw farm Cockburnspath and had been employed as a Road Roller assistant with the East District Surveyor. ( At present he is not listed by the C.W.G.C. but an application for inclusion has been submitted.
