Corporal Ian Mungo Buchan, 1st Battalion, Royal Fusiliers ( City of London Regiment ). He was killed in action in Italy on 17th September 1944 aged 22. He was the son of John and Elizabeth Buchan of Birgham and is buried in Florence War Cemetery, Italy where his Headstone is inscribed ” At the going Down Of the Sun And In The Morning We Will Remember Them”.
