Private Peter Richardson

Private Peter. R. Richardson, 9th ( Service ) Battalion, Cheshire Regiment. He was killed in action in Belgium on 29th April 1918, aged 19, during the German Spring Offensive on the River Lys and is buried in Klein-Vierstraat British Cemetery, Flanders, Belgium. He was the youngest son of Councillor Peter Richardson of Berwick. In civil life he had been employed as a clerk in the Urban Electric Coy. in Berwick and then in Manchester.
