Sergeant Jack Rollo, 10th Battalion, Australian Light Horse. He died in Egypt on 14th June 1919, aged 32 and is buried in Ismailia War Cemetery, Ismailia, Egypt. He had been born in Berwick and was the son of John and Eleanor Rollo of Burns Street, North Freemantle, Western Australia and the husband of Eleanor Rollo of 32 Edward Street, Gateshead-on-Tyne. His Headstone is inscribed ” Earth Cannot Hide The Glory Of His Noble Soul His Duty Well Done”.
