Gunner Andrew Turner Burgon, 44th Battery, 61st Light Anti Aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery. He was killed in action in North Africa on 21st January 1942, aged 22. He was the son of Alexander and Jemima Burgon of Berwick and is commemorated on the Alamein Memorial, El Alamein, Egypt. The normal gun used was the Bofors gun as shown below.
