Private George Heriot, 8th Battalion, Canadian Infantry. ( Possibly). He died in Belgium on 5th July 1916, aged 35, and is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Flanders, Belgium. He was the brother of Miss E. A. Heriot of Newcastle-on-Tyne.
