Corporal James Straughan, Royal Air Force. He died on Active Service on 3rd July 1943, aged 22. He was the son of James and Ann Isabel Straughan of Bamburgh and is buried in Campbelltown ( Kilkerran ) Cemetery where his Headstone is inscribed ” Thy Purpose Lord We Cannot See But All Is Well That’s Done by Thee”.
