Seaman Robert Spouse. Royal Naval Patrol Service. He was lost at sea aboard H.M. Anti-Submarine Trawler “Rosemonde” on 22nd January 1942, aged 29. He was the son of William and Grace Spouse of Burnmouth and is commemorated on the Lowestoft Naval Memorial. The Trawler was probably sunk by U-581 North East of the Azores with all 25 Hands lost.
