Private James Yule, 4th Battalion, Kings Own Scottish Borderers. He died at Kings Cross Hospital, Dundee on 24th August 1918, aged 21 and is buried in Ayton Kirkyard. He was the son of James and Elizabeth Yule, was born and lived in Ayton and had enlisted at Galashiels.
