Private Thomas Edmondson

Private Thomas Hume Edmondson, ” C” Coy.,13th ( Service ) Battalion, Durham Light Infantry. He died in France on 25th October 1918, aged 20, of wounds received in action. He was the son of James Mole Edmondson and Elizabeth Edmondson of Wellhouse, Harbottle and is buried in Delsaux Farm Cemetery, Beugny. His brother Joseph also fell ( see above ). He fell during the ” Advance to Victory ” and the photographs show Allied troops advancing after the retreating German Army during the final 100 days of the War.
