Jacob’s Well

A Community Trust volunteer and a History Society volunteer have today surfaced Jacob's Well on the site near the Coldstream Bridge. It took some digging out – soil, wild garlic shoots, stones and awkward roots. If you are visiting the site, watch that the walkway is in need of repair and moved away from the well, so that it can be viewed properly. Here is a photo.
