Commentary

Patrick Sellar was born in 1854 in Rogart, Sutherland. He had two sons and one daughter with Janet Anne Carruthers between 1897 and 1904. He died on 14 September 1925 in Fife at the age of 71

Janet Anne Carruthers was born in 1861 in Inverness, Inverness-shire. She had two sons and one daughter with Patrick Sellar between 1897 and 1904.

When Walter Carruthers Sellar was born in 1899 in Golspie, Sutherland, his father, Patrick, was 45 and his mother, Janet, was 38. He had one brother and one sister. He died on 11 June 1951 in Surrey at the age of 52.
