In loving memory of ROBERT CARMICHAEL J.P. Rosybank Coldstream who died 2ndDecember 1934 in his 81st year Also his wife EUPHEMIA BELL DICKMAN who died 25th June 1951 in her 91st year Also HELEN RACHEL daughter of above who died 19th December 1889.

Information given to us from Lexie Kerr Coldstream Primary School who did a study on this headstone in Lennel Churchyard. (Very well done Lexie)
His wife’s name was Eupheia Bell Dickman,
His sons names were, Alexander and George.
He also had a daughter called Helen Rachel.
He died on the 2nd of December 1934,
He died when he was 81
His wife died on the 25th of June 1951,
And when his wife died she was 91.
Robert Carmichael had two sons that went to war but they didn’t come back home so Robert Carmichael built the war memorial in honour of his sons and others that died in war.
