(First headstone to be found against north wall) Erected by ANN HEWITT in memory of WILLIAM HEWITT husband died 30 April 1864 aged 64 years. Also above ANN HEWITT died 13th April 1876 aged 80 years

Commentary

William Hewitt was born at Coldstream, occupation Chelsea Pensioner and Tailor. He lived at 44 Duke Street. His wife Ann was born at Dunbar.
