Erected to the memory of MARGARET UMPHERSTONE who died at Coldstream 17th March 1877 aged 81 years.

Also ISABELLA UMPHERSTONE who died 21st May 1884 aged 81 years.

Middle - Row 4 - 2 - Smith/Redden

Erected by ANDREW SMITH Builder Coldstream in memory of ISABELLA his daughter who died 7th April 1879 aged 2 years.

Also THOMAS HENRY his son who died 21st Oct 1892 aged 3 years.

Also CHRISTINA HENRIETTA REDDEN his wife who died 6th July 1908 aged 54 years.

Also JOHN his son who died 3rd October 1912 aged 20 years.

Also CHRISTINA his daughter who died 16th August 1914 aged 40 years.

Also the above ANDREW SMITH who died 24th May 1928 aged 73 years.

Erected in memory of JAMES SOMERVILLE who died at Coldstream 25th March 1823 aged 75 years.

And AGNES YOUNGER spouse who died 19th February 1823 aged 71 years.

Also ANDREW SOMERVILLE their son who died 7th May 1817 aged 34 years.

Next door to Somervail but unable to read. 5 foot high headstone.

Middle - Row 4 - 5 - Trotter/Johnston

Erected by JANET TROTTER in memory of parents PETER TROTTER father Saddler in Coldstream died 27 June 1778 aged 60 years. And MARGARET JOHNSTON his wife ???? Children sons and daughter in infancy. (This headstone is largely unreadable).

Erected by WILLIAM REID the Hirsel in memory of MARGARET BUSH his wife who died at Hirsel 26th September 1868 aged 48 years.

Also WILLIAM REID son of the above who died 5th October 1880 aged 24 years.

Middle - Row 4 - 7 - Thomson/Somervill

Erected by RITCHARD THOMSON in memory of his son WILLIAM who died 25 March 1846 aged 22 months.

Also ANN SOMERVILL wife died 9 November 1849 aged 36 years; MARGARET daughter died 11 November 1849 aged 9 years.

This headstone is largely unreadable.

Also MARGARET KINGHORN spouse to JAMES MITCHEL who died 30 April 1824 aged 97 years. Also JANET ROBERTSON spouse to THOMAS MITCHEL who died 17 January 1836 aged 73 years. Also the above THOMAS MITCHEL who died 21 December 1847 aged 83 years. Also JAMES son who died 6 December 1850 aged 54 years. Also JAMES son of above JAMES MITCHEL died 25 April 1862 aged 18 years.

Also ISABELLA DAVIDSON wife who died 7 February 1884 aged 83 years.

Also JAMES son who died at Newcastle on Tyne 13 October 1907 aged 62 years.

In memory of JOHN AITCHISON who died at Coldstream 29 December 1848 aged 81 years. ISABELLA AITCHISON his wife who died at Coldstream 22 July 1849 aged 81 years.

ROBERT their son who died at Englefield Green Parish of Egham County of Surrey 14 March 1850 aged 52 years.

Also ALICE their daughter who died at Melrose Asylum 6 December 1890 aged 16 years.

(Erected by surviving children as a token of filial affection). 1850.

Erected to the memory of JOHN VIRTUE who died in Coldstream 4th May 1820 aged 77 years.

Also ELIZABETH PATERSON his wife who died 3 March 1824 aged 73 years.

Also ANN their grand daughter who died 27 July 1822 aged 16 years

Sacred to the memory of THOMAS MOLESWORTH SUMMERTON of the Parish of Bloomsbury London who died at Berwick on 8 August 1824 aged 46 years.

This stone is erected by MARY VIRTUE his affectionate wife as a small token of her esteem.

Erected by LEONARD SHORT in memory of his son RALPH who died 6 February 1850 aged 11 months. Also MARGARET WALLACE his wife who died  April 29 1855 aged 45 years. LEONARD SHORT who died June 27 1874 aged 63 years (not in 1874 index according to Cargill).
