Sacred to the Memory of JAMES SCOTT, who died at Wark Boathouse, 26th January 1865 aged 78. 

And of CATHERINE HENDRY his wife who died at the same place 25th Novr. 1854 aged 66. 

Also BETSY their daughter who died 10th June 1879 aged 67, she was a most affectionate daughter kind sister and generous friend.

Commentary

James Scott was a  Salmon fisherman born in Cornhill. Also fishin with james are his sons Thomas and Robert
