Here lyes the body of WILLIAM MCDONALD, late Mercht. in Coldstream who died Nov. 26 1787 aged _ _ _ _ years.

Erected by JAMES YOUNGER in memory of MARY his wife who died at Presson Septr. 4th 1878 aged 63 years. ISABELLA their daughter died August. 2nd 1840 aged 2 years. MARGARET their daughter died July 10th 1846 aged 4 years. RALPH their son died Decr. 20th 1855 aged 3 years. JOHN their son died Decr. 23rd 1855 aged 7 years. Also the above JAMES YOUNGER who died at Akeld, May 12th 1883 aged 73 years.

And DAVID his son who died 12th May 1838 aged 10 years. Also the above MARY SCOTT who died at Tweedmill, 29th November 1876 aged 85 years.
